Head of Sales Germany (f/m/x) - Diagnostics/MedTech [POCT/IVD]

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales activities in the assigned area and strengthen your team expansion and development of market activities
  • Shape the strategic direction and work closely with the national and international management
  • Responsible for budget management, district (review), market and competitive analysis
  • Development and implementation of regional sales and business plans
  • Support and further development of sales staff using the leadership system, implementation of modern sales processes
  • Responsible for sales as well as operational KOL management, initiation of new business contacts, cooperation with management, marketing, quality management as well as service and coordination of market presence

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, life sciences OR completed training with further interdisciplinary qualifications and significant diagnostic business experience
  • Many years of experience in controlling sales processes in laboratory or medical technology, ideally in Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) & Critical Care
  • Experience in personal or team management, ideally in comparable position with demonstrated accomplishments in leadership roles; a significant track record in people leadership is an important requisite
  • High communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy, internally and externally (coaching, demonstrating, presenting, troubleshooting, networking)
  • Distinct analytical skills, structured approach and high problem-solving competence
  • Very good negotiating, presentation and planning skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany - residence in the HomeOffice possible - 2-3 days in headquarters necessary
  • Familiar with MS Office and CRM tools (SalesForce)
  • Business fluency in German and in English is essential
