Head of Sales Germany (m/f/d) Medical Aids & Consumables

  • In this key role you have full profit & loss responsibility (€ 60 million) and are responsible for all sales activities for the healthcare sector in Germany
  • Conceptual development and implementation of a visionary, sustainable as well as efficient sales strategy, based on an in-depth company and market analysis, following the company's vision
  • Targeted development of untapped market potential to increase sales to nursing homes, clinics, medical supply stores, nursing services, specialist dealers, pharmacies
  • Establishment of a high-performance sales team - based on 8 Direct Reports (RSM/KAM), as well as indirect management of a two-line field sales team of currently approx. 30 employees
  • Coaching and motivation development of the sales team - occasional support during customer visits
  • Personal KOL support, together with the RSM and the KAM
  • Interdisciplinary planning and implementation of sales activities in cooperation with interfaces such as product management and marketing department
  • Collaboration on the optimization of internal processes and digital solutions (e.g. introduction of a new CRM / digital connection of the product range)
  • Representation of the company to customers, at in-house customer events (seminars / workshops), as well as at trade fairs and congresses
  • You report directly to the management, to whom you report regularly
  • You will be supported in your role by your personal sales management assistant, HR and management assistant


  • You have a degree in medicine, natural sciences or economics or a comparable vocational training with relevant professional experience in health care or medical technology
  • You have at least 7 - 10 years of management experience in the sales management (incl. disciplinary management responsibility) of a sales organization with a nationwide focus and ideally have knowledge in the development of sales
  • You are successful in sales management of medical devices (preferably medical consumer goods)
  • You have a lot of passion and energy for modeling sales processes, an eye for the missing detail and manage to win over your environment empathetically as well as authentically and to inspire for new things
  • You appreciate moving in flat hierarchies and responding to the trusting cooperation in a family business with commitment, sensitivity and enthusiasm
  • You will serve your KOLs in a highly professional and responsible manner (hands-on), using your diplomatic intuition as well as your negotiating skills at all times and unerringly and fomenting long-term partnerships
  • You are familiar with modern CRM systems - a good level of digital user competence is desirable
  • From your HomeOffice you are always ready for regular presence at the company location and increased willingness to travel (approx. 30-40%/year) mainly in Germany
  • You speak business fluent German and English, both spoken and written
